Carmen Romero

Carmen brings a diverse background in the private and nonprofit sectors, with experience as a manager, entrepreneur, and teacher.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Syracuse University. Her nonprofit experience includes serving as Assistant Director of Child Development at a large Chicago humanitarian agency, volunteering for 11 years as a catechist at St. Matthias Church in Chicago, Associate Director at Still Point Theatre Collective - a theatrical outreach organization, and for the last 7 years serving as Assistant Executive Director at NALM.

At NALM, Carmen is a member of the Membership Committee, where she connects with and supports our diverse and engaging membership.
