Yolanda Madrid

Yolanda C. Madrid serves as Treasurer of the National Association for Lay Ministry (NALM), serves in the Diocese of San Bernardino's Department of Life, Dignity, & Justice, serves on the boards of other nonprofit organizations dedicated to advancing justice, solidarity, and the mission of the Church, while pursuing a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry at St. John's Seminary in Camarillo, California.

Yolanda is passionate about forming lay ministers to serve faithfully in an increasingly intercultural Church, grounded in the God-given dignity of every person. She continues to study languages and cultures, believing that every authentic encounter is an opportunity to grow in understanding, build authentic relationships, and more fully appreciate the richness of God's creation.
