Anastasia Jakubow is an experienced Catholic ministry leader and technologist specialized in online program management, curriculum design, and faith formation. She is adept at developing instructional software and coordinating large-scale adult education initiatives. Currently, she serves as a spiritual formator for the National Association of Catholic Nurses, in addition to being a visiting professor at several higher education institutions.
She holds a Master of Arts degree in pastoral studies from Loyola University and is commissioned as a lay ecclesial minister. Furthermore, she is certified as a pastoral associate, a director of religious education, and an adult faith formation leader from the University of Saint Mary of the Lake for the Archdiocese of Chicago. Her academic background also includes a Master of Education degree with a concentration in policy, organization, and leadership, as well as a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a concentration in artificial intelligence and expert systems.
Yet, beyond any degree or title, the true compass of Anastasia’s life is a profound love for the Catholic faith and a deep, personal friendship with Jesus Christ. She moves forward in total surrender to the Holy Spirit, trusting that He will breathe life into her work and direct her steps as she seeks to serve the Church with all that she is.
She is dedicated to laboring alongside others on new and groundbreaking paths, so that together they might tend to the needs of today’s Church. Her goal is to ensure that the spirit of lay ministry continues to flourish and bear much fruit in a shared labor of community, united in purpose for our Lord.
