§  3:00 – 3:45 PM: Session - Panel Presentation: Challenges in Parishes of Today

§  3:45 – 4:45 PM: Small Group Discussion  – Challenges Encountered  by Lay Ministers in Parishes

§  5:45 – 6:45 PM: Dinner (included with registration)

§  7:15 – 8:30 PM: Open Forum – Sharing of Positive and Challenging Aspects in Today’s Parishes

§  1:15 – 2:00 PM: Session - Alliance and Certification Update (Carol Walters, Convener of the Alliance for Certification and Marc DelMonico PHD, Assistant Director USCCB Subcommittee on Certification for Ecclesial Ministry and Service)

§  2:00 – 2:45 PM: Session - Panel Presentation: Tips and Tricks to the Certification Process (Carol Walters, Marc Delmonico and Susan McNeil, Director Office of Lay Ministry, Archdiocese of Milwaukee)

§  9:30 – 10:15 AM: Plenary - What is Pastoral Ministry?  (Carol Walters, Former Director Office of Lay Ecclesial Ministry, current Director Office for Externs and International Priests, Archdiocese of Chicago)

§  10:45 – 11:30 AM: Plenary - Exploring a New Road: Collaborative Formation for Laity and Clergy in the 21st Century (Fr. Joseph Merkt, Retired Priest, Archdiocese of Louisville KY and Jamie Moloney MAPM, NALM Advocacy Committee and Regional Representative Chair)

                                     §  12:00 – 1:00 PM: Lunch (included with registration)

§  1:15 – 2:00 PM: Open Forum - NALM into the Future: Needs of Parish Lay Ministers of Tomorrow

§  2:00 PM: Closing prayer (for those not staying)

§  2:30 PM: Mass with NACC and Commissioning Service

§  4:00 PM: Conference Close

 

Cancellation Policy: A refund of fees paid, less $50.00 will be made upon receipt of written notification prior to May 15, 2019. No refunds will be made after this date. If you must cancel and have made hotel reservations, please remember to let the hotel know as soon as possible so that someone else may have your room at the conference rate.
